Yoga saved my life.

The practice of yoga is more about releasing what is no longer serving you and learning who you are as a soul than it is a physical practice. Yes, the physical practice is very important however once you begin to sit with yourself and begin to feel what you have not allowed yourself to feel your physical practice evolves into one of fulfillment. You learn what is not important, letting go of thoughts that no longer serve you. You learn you are not your past and your story is still being written. I have learned about quiet strength, inner fortitude, grace, dignity, forgiveness and bravery.It takes a very strong person to sit with themselves and heal all of their issues without trying to bring someone else into that chaos. I am grateful to be a yoga teacher witnessing unimaginable transformations in so many people over the many years I have been teaching.
