Why Don’t You Heal?

WHY DON'T YOU HEAL?

You don't heal because when something good comes into your life you reject it and prefer to stay with what doesn't make you happy.

You don't heal because you keep ignoring the powerful and valuable being inside you.

You don't heal because you continue to neglect yourself and pretend that all is well in your world.

You don't heal because you haven't dared to face the people who run your life.

You don't heal because you don't use your scissors to cut ties with people who no longer nourish you.

You don't heal because you have assumed that sacrifice is the way to show love to others.

You don't heal because you don't use the magic of forgiveness to cleanse yourself of anger and resentment.

You don't heal because you flee from nature, you don't enjoy the rain, you don't get lost in the forest, you don't bathe in the sea and hide from the Sun and the Moon.

You don't heal because you scream for help to the winds and when they listen to you and try to lead you on a path that will make you happy, you cling to the past.

You don't heal because you don't let yourself be carried away inside, by the strength of your heart and your mind, and you have ignored that you are the healer, because "you won't heal if you don't want to heal."

We are stars wrapped in skin, we are light and the healing you are seeking has always been within you...
