When feelings define reality, life becomes unstable.
Feelings change quickly. You can wake up confident and go to bed discouraged. You can feel loved one moment and forgotten the next. If whatever you feel becomes your version of “truth,” then your reality will keep shifting. That creates confusion.
For example:
🌷If you feel like a failure, you may start believing you truly are one even if the facts say otherwise.
🌷If you feel rejected, you may assume you are unwanted even without clear evidence.
🌷If you feel distant from God, you may conclude He has left you even though His Word says He has not.
Feelings are real experiences. They tell you something is happening inside you. But they are not always accurate interpreters of what is happening outside you.
Truth, on the other hand, is steady. It does not change depending on mood, stress, hormones, or circumstances. When Truth becomes your anchor, it grounds you.
An anchor does not stop waves from coming. It keeps the boat from drifting.
In the same way:
🍃You can feel anxious, but remember what is true.
🍃You can feel unloved, but remember what is true.
🍃You can feel weak, but remember what is true.
When you hold onto Truth first, your emotions begin to settle into their proper place. They are acknowledged, but they are not in control. They are processed, but they do not rule.
This does not mean ignoring your feelings. It means examining them.
It means asking, “What is actually true here?”
When Truth leads, confusion decreases.
When Truth anchors you, emotions no longer toss you around.
They become signals to understand .. not masters to obey.
