We Will Transition Into Another World 💕

When I am asked

by a small child

what it must be like to die,

this is my answer:

“To die is to be like a caterpillar

that feels it is slowly fading away,

but then awakens to discover

that it has become a butterfly.

And it has shed

all that was temporary and illusory

from this life,

as it takes flight

into the world of the invisible,

greeted by all of the other butterflies

it has ever loved in this lifetime

who love it in return.

For this life is but a shadow of the real world,

where all that is truly timeless and unseen lives on.

And it is not truly death,

but merely a transition

into another world.”
