Ways We Abandon Ourselves

There are many ways we abandon ourselves. Some of these ways are going along when we don't want to, staying quiet when we're screaming inside, trying to make everyone like us, and making ourselves small to appease the egos of others. Maybe you are avoiding setting firm boundaries and when you do, not upholding them so you can "keep the peace." Possibly you are sacrificing yourself and your personal values so you can "fit in," agreeing when you don't agree in the slightest and feeling really uncomfortable with your choices and decisions. Shamanism and Reiki are powerful healing modalities that will help see why you are abandoning yourself and how to move through it. One way is to declare daily that you are courageous, unstoppable, victorious, loved, blessed, gifted, successful, healed, healthy, beautiful, whole, enough, confident, grateful, forgiving, generous, strong, favored, able, powerful, fruitful and a spark of the divine. I believe in you, I'm here for you and you are not alone.

I was everything in the whole right side of this picture until I read Anxiety RX. It spelled out everything I've been thinking and feeling since I was very small and helped me understand why and how to change it. Life changing!
