Having the blessing of a true is a priceless gift to your life and one you should value. I have such a friend and not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and remember all she has done for me. Without asking she jumped right in to events in my life that others felt too uncomfortable to even speak of. She knew exactly what to say at my parents’ fun after everyone left. She listened to my tears and heartache as Mike was slowly dying. She brought me lunch from Starbucks and sat with me in Penn hospice. She stayed in contact with me all 16 days he was there before he passed. She knew exactly what to say the next day when I was shell shocked. She was the first person I thought of when I was preparing to marry Tim. She gave me the most beautiful camouflage lingerie! She is the best listener I have ever known. We talk a lot since I moved to Colorado, she makes time for me despite her hectic schedule. She is the most amazing mother to her children and a friend I have learned many life lessons from. She is grace, humbleness, integrity, loyalty and compassion. My life is truly deeply more beautiful because of her unconditional love and support. I can’t imagine my life without her. May we all have a friend this important and essential in our lives. Thank you my friend.
