There Is A Kind of Wisdom In Learning To Honor Your Season

There is a kind of wisdom in learning to honor your season. ❄️🌿☀️🍂

We often wait for other people to validate where we are. And when they don’t, we feel unseen and misunderstood.

But no one else is responsible for honoring your season.

You are.

If you don’t own your season, you will constantly apologize for it.

You will apologize for resting.

You will apologize for saying no.

You will apologize for not being who you used to be.

You will apologize for not being who others expect you to become.

Honoring your season means saying, “This is where I am, and I will not be ashamed of it.”

It means protecting your pace.

It means adjusting your expectations.

It means allowing your capacity to match your current calling.

A seed does not compare itself to a tree.

A tree does not try to bloom in winter.

Each stage has its own assignment.

There is dignity in winter.

There is purpose in every season.

When you honor your season, you stop measuring your life against someone else’s timeline. You stop forcing fruit that is not yet meant to grow. You stop abandoning yourself just to keep up.

You begin to steward what is in your hands.

You do not need everyone to understand your pace.

The moment you take responsibility for honoring your own season, you stop waiting for permission to live it well. 💕
