Journal Prompts

Updated: Jan 23, 2023

Journaling and journal prompts are a great way to begin creating awareness and healing all parts of yourself-spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Writing is a therapeutic tool used to help safely process what you need to feel, learn from, heal and release. I have included 10 profound journaling prompts that will help you begin your transformative healing journey and reclaim your personal power.

  1. Do you have safe, emotionally mature people, or groups, to assist you in learning how to begin your transformative healing journey while acknowledging your own experiences?

  2. What are your limiting beliefs and mental blocks? How can you work towards feeling and healing them?

  3. Have you reassessed your values? What is important to you today? What will fill you up with love, fun, joy and peace today?

  4. What are your goals, dreams, desires and aspirations today?

  5. Have you taken time to prioritize yourself? What do you need in this moment? How can you give this to yourself? Do you want to be alone or with others?

  6. What do you need to accept and release to create firm boundaries? Are all of your relationships healthy? Where have you had leaky boundaries, or lack of, in your relationships?

  7. Are you ready to reacquaint yourself with your strengths, intentions, skills, abilities, qualities and personal power? What actions can you take today to move forward with these?

  8. As you begin to reach out and engage with emotionally mature safe people, can you allow yourself to feel valued, respected, seen, safe, desirable, lovable and wanted?

  9. Do you understand that you have choices in all parts of your life? Are you able to create more acceptance of what can't be changed, courage to change what you can and the wisdom to know the difference?

  10. Is it possible to practice self-compassion, self-respect, self-love and self-worth today? Are you ready to be your best friend? Do you trust your intuition? Do you walk in faith and trust
