I'm Not Afraid of Stillness, I Honor It

I just exist in a different frequency. I’m not here to fill silence with noise. I’m not afraid of stillness—I honor it.
Gossip, drama, and shallow exchanges don’t nourish me; they drain me. When 70% of human conversations revolve around who said what or who did what to who, I choose the peace of presence instead. I’m not antisocial—I’m selectively social.
Small talk doesn’t stimulate me. I crave real conversations—the kind that touch the soul, not just pass the time. Talk to me about your dreams, your fears, the questions that keep you up at night. I want to know who you are when no one’s watching—not who you pretend to be for applause.
I don’t speak just to be heard—I speak to connect. And if I sense the space isn’t safe, I’ll retreat into my inner world, where I find far more honesty than most perform on the outside.
Even in silence, I’m wide open—aware, curious, deeply present. I observe more than I speak. I feel more than I show. I may seem distant, but it’s only because I’m attuned to things most people overlook.
So no, I’m not “too quiet.” I’m intentional. I’m grounded. And I’ve learned that the loudest person in the room is often the most disconnected from themselves.
Because my silence isn’t emptiness—it’s wisdom choosing where to place its energy. ...Hafez Poetry
